Sustainability in Extrusion
At Seal Lite, all of our uPVC windows are designed with recyclability in mind and are made with PVC that can be recycled up to ten times without compromising on quality. When developing our innovative products, we factor in recycling right from the outset. An example of this is our Ideal 70 windows, made from materials that can be separated with ease and then recycled.
The raw materials used for our Aluplast window profiles are based on a calcium-zinc chemical stabiliser that is strictly lead-free. With this eco-friendly stabiliser, these window systems can be fabricated and recycled in an ecologically sound way, contributing towards our responsibility to reducing our impact on the environment.
Guaranteed Quality
At Seal Lite, our window and door frame profiles are RAL certified and are subject to regular quality checks. Our windows are also CE marked by the European Committee for Standardisation, meaning that they are monitored on a regular basis by the test institute IFT.
Ecotech- Innovation in uPVC recycling technology
Ecotech is a ground-breaking application of uPVC recycling technology adopted by Aluplast that delivers a step-change in the use of recycled material and content in a new generation of sustainable and energy-efficient uPVC windows and doors.
Through this process, recycled and virgin material are extruded simultaneously through a single die to create a single profile, locking the recycled material away from the visible areas of the frame. This allows us to utilise recycled content while also guaranteeing surface appearance, finish quality, and depth of gloss, ensuring that the surface has no pits or extrusion lines.
EPD: Certified Eco Footprint
Our products come with EPDs, the European Environmental Product Declaration in accordance with ISO14025 and EN15804, which carefully documents the eco-footprint of our windows over an average product lifecycle of 50 years. At Seal Lite, we’re at the forefront of innovation in uPVC technology.
This includes designing and developing products which are more energy efficient, last longer and perform better. It’s also about minimising the impact of our operations in their manufacture and making them easier to recycle. Our manufacturing process is also certified to the environmental standard IS05001.
